Aurigo Software Technologies

We are looking to hire a Vice President of Engineering, to head our 150 member engineering team at our global R&D centre at Bangalore, India.

Primary Responsibilities:

As the Vice President of Engineering, you will oversee the entire product development, quality assurance and professional services delivery out of our India offices. You will be primarily responsible to build and manage a world class organization. This position is ultimately responsible for high quality delivery of software products and professional services to internal and external customers in North America.  You will have complete freedom to shape the entire India organization and we are looking for an intelligent and passionate individual who is an entrepreneur at heart and shares our values. We expect to double our team over the next 12–18 months.

The positions reporting to this role in India are the Director of R&D, Director of Project Delivery, Director of QA and the head of HR. This position will not have oversight of any functions related to finance, sales and marketing. This position directly reports to the CEO of Aurigo Inc.

Desired Skills and Experience:

•  Experience in playing both a hands on and leadership role at enterprise software product and services organizations is critical.
• 12 - 15 years of experience including 6+ years building and managing world class offshore teams and managing cost centers with 100+ employees
• Solid understanding of industry-standard SDLC and Agile QA Methodology, tools and approaches.
• Strong understanding of the Microsoft technology stack is a plus.
• Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from IIT / NIT / BITS  with an MBA from IIM / ISB / XLRI / NMIMS (or equivalent International University) is a must.
